Hey guys. I have something I have to discuss with you guys. Earlier today someone was annoying me, and started pretending he was drunk. He knows that's something I don't like, but he didn't know what being drunk is like. I just want to say that stuff like that is not a joke! My papa was an alcoholic, and he now has to have a new liver, and a wound on his leg he got two years ago that is still there, and is infected and blistering. I would just like to tell you guys that alcohol is NO JOKE. Some people know when enough is enough, but a lot more don't. You could be one of those people. But hopefully you never find out. I know you hear a lot about this from ads, from people who don't have any experience in stuff like this. But this is coming from someone who has a grandfather who is a nice person, but devoted a lot of his life to alcohol, someone who has seen him drunk and had to deal with seeing a loved one in a horrible state, someone who has seen the devastating effects it can bring, and someone who has to deal with the memories inside of herself, and can't tell her friends anything. Alcohol isn't a joke. It's not something you can just look at and say, this isn't anything I have to think about. Because no matter who you are, it will effect your life in some way. Whether small or big. But it can be big if you don't realize how much harm it can cause.
I just wanted to give you guys something to think about. Because we have to be careful in a world like this. Even though I know most of you will think about this for one minute, then the next day you forget, but people like me have to try, and that's what I am doing. You might never feel it's affects, but others have. Think of other people. Not what it can do to you, but what it can do to other people. The Bible tells us that being drunk is like this: "Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, [when] it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. They have stricken me, [shalt thou say, and] I was not sick; they have beaten me, [and] I felt [it] not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again." - Proverbs 23:29-35 KJV And that's exactly what happens. And don't keep this to yourself. Tell anyone who is close to you, or your loved ones, about this. Tell them what can happen. Cause what if you wake up one day, and suddenly you find your loved ones have been drinking, and they are doing things you never thought they could be capable of? You would want them back. And then they got sick, and it seems like they could die at any second? You would want them to live, and be the people you once knew. Keep all of this in mind. Because we have to start the line we haven't drawn. We've tried, but we haven't put any effort into it. So now let's try. Remember this. This is SonicGirlsGeek, and I'm saying goodbye.
