SONICGIRLGEEK IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!! My computer though, not so much. Until I get a new AC adapter, DO NOT EXPECT NEW POSTS. I am working off my parent's computer for now with pictures from a back-up hard drive, but our house is being renovated, so this arrangement probably won't last very long. Not to mention I am going back to school next week AND my birthday is that Saturday, so I have a full plate. Long story short, I can not regularly post. I just wanted you to know why I wasn't posting in forever so that you wouldn't worry. But today I am making it up to you so that you can hold out until I am back on a routine. Comment if you want, but remember I have a limited window of time, so please do so quickly.

Hey guys! So you know how I don't have ANY social media platfomrs? Well I recently got one! DisneyDork showed me this cool app called Musical.ly that let's you make a sort of "page" of music videos that you make, selfie style! my username is, of course, SonicGirlsGeek, so if you have the app, go and check me out! Unfortunately, my camera is cracked, my new phone was a big bust, so I have very horrible quality. But I do pick out some good tunes, if you know what I mean! Comment below on what you think!
Weebly malfunctioned AGAIN! If you wanna see my latest review, about London 2012 Sonic and Mario Olympic games, please go down to right after Why I Don't Have Social Media and enjoy! I can't promise this won't happen again though, so please be patient if I give another warning about weebly glitches. Comment below on what you would like me to do next on my blog!
Hey guys! Okay, so usually DisneyDork does this kinda thing, but my mom found this AWESOME video on the internet and I LOVE IT! So I decided to put it up on my blog just for you guys! Hope you enjoy! Oh, and this video belongs to Brian Hull. Comment below on what you think!
REALLY?! ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!! Sorry, it's just, I JUST heard about some game reviewers named IGN, who just put their big egos to the test, and insulted the ENTIRE SONIC COMMUNITY! I am NOT exaggerating people! IGN recently put a review of the Sonic franchise out there, and they blatantly said that it was, and I quote, "A 25 year lie". if you are a active Sonic fan who is constantly on the Internet, you probably have seen or heard about this, and I have SEEN people like me letting the world know that they hate this. I even saw a post somewhere that said IGN was having to FIGHT BACK against Sonic the Hedgehog fans because they were SO biased. Wrong move. REALLY wrong move. Even some of the most peaceful Sonic fans are dusting off their guns about this, and I don't blame them. You didn't just insult Sonic the Hedgehog, which gets that about 100 times a day, not just the games, which AGAIN are hated on a lot, but you insult actual living people. Sonic has been hated on before, yet they still live in harmony with the rest of us Sonic fans. But NOW you are insulting living, breathing people who's opinions matter! that's SO not cool! I have seen Sonally and Sonamy haters go head to head, but they NEVER went as far as to say that their opponents were idiots for liking them! Why? Because even though shipping in the Sonic fandom is like a battlefield, they don't blame EACH OTHER for liking different styles. They hate on the ships, not the people themselves. And that's coming from the most hateful and dangerous side of the Sonic Fandom EVER KNOWN. Now, a bunch of people who don't really play the games are suddenly coming out and saying that Sonic the Hedgehog is the worst, and that "if you DO like them, to go call the cops!" DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW?! your being SO biased that your forgetting the fact that your talking about actual people who LOVE this game franchise! IGN, you have personally made an enemy of me and the Sonic fandom and community. You have warned. Comment below if you feel the same. #IGNwrong. SonicGirlsGeek out, and loading her cannons for war.
Hey guys! Sorry about that rant from the other day, although I meant every word. SonicGirlsGeek is back to review my very first Sonic game! That's right, even though I am a hardcore Sonic fan, I only became a Sonic fan about two years ago. Ah, good times...... Anyways, this was the first game I ever got after I became a fan. Over all, this game did impress me. Good graphics, great music, perfect characters! The activities were awesome as well! The ribbon twirling was nice, and as I found out later when getting the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, the controls were similar to Figure skating, only better controls. The swimming was also good, even if the controls didn't move like they should've, so you almost always lost those points. The London Party was nice, and as I also found out in Winter 2010, they fixed Cream's excessive giggling problem. All though I liked the Winter festival better, because it kinda gives you a better experience. But I did like how you could walk through London during the Party mode. It really is a game for those long and boring summer days. But if you don't believe me, go buy the game! It really is something you'll want to play over and over again. So this is SonicGirlsGeek, signing out for the day. Comment below on what you think!
Hey guys! So I recently realized that I have NO social media platforms. Whatsoever. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, I have NONE of those. Obviously I have an email address, but besides that and this blog, NOTHING. And I will explain why. Besides the fact that it's just having another blog to handle, it's also a wild card, just like the internet. Have you SEEN facebook? It's like the Internet and offensive had a baby! So I saw it from my Mom's account, and I was a mixture of scared/offended/and angered by the time Mom made me go away. So needless to say, blog or no, I wouldn't be caught dead on there (Unless I was killed by someone of a different race or religion that is.....)! Instagram? Vine? Snapchat? I don't even use my phone for texting it's too hard for me! So I don't think I could keep up with that kind of demand. Although Instagram does sound interesting...... I mean, all pictures! Not that I'm not completely detached to books or words, but I have a good collection of good pictures, so that seems interesting to me. Unfortunately the two earlier problems come up. Another blog, and I can't make something like that on my phone. So yeah, if you've been looking for me on your social medias, I'm NOT THERE. Unless you use Google plus then yeah I have an account, but only because of my email address and I have to spread the word somehow..... So yeah, unless you look on google accounts, I will not be there. I know what you are thinking. No, I don't have a Youtube channel either. That wouldn't be fair to B-Train Media, now would it? If you are new or haven't been updated, B-Train Media is the new name of CoolGuy9019, my business partner who I advertise for. He is someone on Youtube I know from school and who's videos I actually enjoy, (I recommend Two Idiots Play Minecraft)! So that's all I have to say, I hope I've cleared up some questions you might have had. Comment below!
So I noticed DisneyDork did some of her favorite memes, and I really liked that idea! So first I would like to give full credit to DisneyDork for this amazing and hilarious idea. You really are talented at blog posts. So here are some of my favorite Sonic memes, I hope you enjoy! (please excuse some of the blurry or small ones) Hey guys! So here is a review I'm doing from the comments section, about Glitter Force! I am actually a fan of this show, so this one wasn't a very hard one! It's all about these teenage girls, Emily, Kelsey, Lily, Chloe, and April, that find out about this magical world called Jubiland. However, a man named Emperor Nogo tried to take over Jubiland, and resulted in the queen releasing her glitter charms onto Earth. The glitter charms power glitter packs, that appeared to the girls in an inexplicable plot hole, which turn the girls into the Glitter Force! The Glitter Force are made up of Glitter Lucky (Emily), Glitter Sunny (Kelsey), Glitter Peace (Lily), Glitter Breeze (Chloe), and Glitter Spring (April). They are the superheroes that try to find all of the glitter charms so they can revive the queen and save Jubiland. Unfortunately, the henchmen of Emperor Nogo, a wolf, a witch, an ogre, and a joker, try to bring back their master (why?) by taking negative energy from the people of Earth. So they fight each other till one of them gets all of the charms or they turn the wheel of doom fully. Overall, I love this show. If you know about Pretty Cure, then it's about the same picture. Unfortunately, I must say that the one villian I hate the most is the Wolf. He looks like he's from Twilight! It's way overused and VERY cliche. To describe him, he looks like a very furry horse. Also as I mentioned before, this show has a few plot holes. 1. the glitter packs are just already there? And they don't just appear when needed, as proven in the episode about Emily's bad luck, so how did they get there? 2. Candy, the pixie who mentors the girls, has been seen in PUBLIC talking or dancing about, yet NO ONE FINDS THIS ODD? I know this is something that happens a lot with shows like these (*cough* hannah montana *cough* *cough* superman *cough*), but COME ON! She literally talks and dances! In front of other people! Yet the closest they get to suspicion is asking their parents for "one of those toys"?! I suppose with Japan's superior knowledge of technology (blech, that was SO hard to say) I guess this wouldn't look unusual, but I personally think if I saw something like that, I'd call animal control! Just saying......
Hey guys! So this is SonicGirlsGeek, KEEPING my promise to review a game, more specifically Age of Empires 2: the conquers campaign. I definitely recommend the updated conquers version to the original, as it has more options and it gives you more campaigns. Now, here's the outline of the game. You have to successfully build an empire, both economically and military, and win the game with allies or against everyone, and you can even use campaigns, where you play as Joan of Arc, William Wallace, and other famous feudal military icons. I like this game, because unlike other games that try to copy AOE's style, you have to pay just as much attention to the village and the villagers population as to the armies that they support. The gameplay is pretty spot on, playing in a realistic way that is pleasing to both peaceful Quaker-like people and the all out "love the smell of gunpowder in the morning" people. This game is my childhood, along with Donkey Kong 64. I love this games versatile use of multiplayer, something you only find in systems like DS. My Dad and I really bonded over this game, and so I feel like it's about time I gave people some good recommendations to this game. Please, if you have any hard feelings against this game, this is MY opinion, not yours. Remember that.
So I just played this game for the first time in months to do this. Don't misunderstand! I do love this game, but there are other things I have to do, the same things that keep me from posting every single day. So I played it in a standard game, and it still doesn't disappoint me. The sound effects are really spot on, being correct to your environment and what you clicked, and even fading and growing when you get close to it. Also the enemies are really nice. You usually get someone who hates you with a vengence, and as most games go it's was pretty successful at doing that. And sometimes on rare occasions they try to ally with you, and that's just as good, because it turns the rest of your enemies on their heels! Heh heh he....... "forgive me and my evil chuckle"(Prince John) heh heh heh........ And the graphics are amazing for what technology they had at the time, and even now is still considered pretty good quality in my opinion. You get a different color depending on what civilization you are, and the colors are not only well placed, but help you understand who's who. Now, sometimes you do ed up havng a villager run into a moving seige weapon and them inexplicably going through one another, but that's just usual video game glitching. Heck, FROZEN had that glitch! And they spent a LOT of time on that movie. So yeah, the game itself is very satisfying. And the campaigns are better! I personally have never gotten all the way through one, but my favorite is the Joan of Arc story, being as she's the only girl character in the game that can actually harm someone. Not to be feminist, because the girls get a good standard role in this game, they can even chop wood and mine for stone! Which is not something that is historically correct, but anywho...... The Joan of Arc campaign is basically you making sure that 1. Joan of Arc lives 2. helping towns defend themselves from the British and 3. make the army of France great again. As I told you before, I haven't finished the campaign yet, but I can guarantee you that the rest of it is just as good as the rest of the game. Oh, and one more thing. If you decide you like the sound of the game and buy it, remember that to train all you have to do is go to William Wallace's campaign (which is a trainer's campaign) and follow that storyline as many times as you like until you think your a pro. Well, that's all I have to say for this game, but my next review isn't far off. Comment below on what you think and what you want me to review or do for my posts! SonicGirlsGeek, over and out. |
